Dom DeLuise (August 1, 1933 - May 4, 2009) was an American actor and comedian. He is also known for voicing many characters in Don Bluth films, usually playing a comic relief or sidekick to the lead. He also played Fagin in Disney's Oliver and Company and Christopher Columbus in The Magic Voyage. He was also a guest star on The Muppet Show and The Magic School Bus, and he was the voice of Koosalagoopagoop on Dexter's Laboratory. He was also known for playing many characters in Mel Brooks films alongside Harvey Korman, Cloris Leachman, and Madeline Kahn. He was also in Spaceballs. He was survived by his family.

  • DeLuise was one of the very few voice actors to be a panelist in the Hollywood Squares. (Marshall, Davidson, and Bergeron)
  • The only Don Bluth films Dom DeLuise wasn’t in were The Land Before Time and Rock-A-Doodle.
  • His only roles in Disney were Fagin from Oliver and Company and Dionysus from Hercules.
